Tis the season...for skating!

Our rink isn't open just yet, but Stephen is working hard to make sure everything is ready to go...hopefully this week! The City of Ottawa Rink of Dreams on Marion Dewar Plaza at City Hall is open, weather-permitting, daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the heated changing facility is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will be open throughout the Christmas Holidays and will be staffed on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, weather permitting.

The following holiday schedule will apply:
December 24 – closed at 6 p.m.
Christmas Day – 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Boxing Day – noon to 11 p.m.
New Year’s Eve (December 31) – closed at 1 a.m.
New Year’s Day – noon to 11 p.m.

Even closer to home, it looks like the Westcliffe Rink is up and running. So get out and get skating! Or, better yet, volunteer to help Stephen (ssartattack@gmail.com) prepare and keep our own community rink in great shape for the season!
